About Signing PDF Documents

Adding signatures to PDF documents is essential for approving contracts, authorizing agreements, and completing digital paperwork. Our Sign PDF tool offers two signature methods: draw your signature naturally on a canvas using mouse or touch input, or type your name for a clean text signature.

The drawn signature is captured as a PNG image and embedded at the bottom of the first page of your PDF, centered and proportionally scaled. The typed signature appears as rendered text with an underline and a "Signed with Convertfyl" indicator.

All processing happens client-side using pdf-lib, ensuring your signature and document never leave your browser. The signature capture supports both mouse and touch events for desktop and mobile use. Free and no registration required.
